Melina Braß (*1996, Groß-Umstadt) is a visual artist, living and working in Vienna.
From 2015 to 2019, she studied fine arts at the HfBK Dresden in Wilhelm Mundt’s Sculpture Class. In 2019, she had a semester abroad at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Copenhagen, studying in Carla Zaccagnini’s Class for Conceptual and Contextual Practices. In 2020, she transferred to HGB Leipzig, joining Joachim Blank’s Class for Installation and Space, where she graduated in February 2023. Since 2022, she has been pursuing a BA in art and communicative practice (kkp) and design, material culture and experimental practice (dex) at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She has also been studying as a postgraduate master student with Wilhelm Mundt beginning 2023. In 2024, she was awarded the Robert-Sterl-Prize.
