Melina Brass (*1996, Germany) is a visual artist, living and working in Vienna.



From 2015 to 2019, Braß studied Fine Arts at the HfBK Dresden in Wilhelm Mundt’s Sculpture Class. In 2019, they were an exchange student at the Royal Danish Academy   of Fine Arts Copenhagen, studying in Carla Zaccagnini’s Class for Conceptual and Contextual Practices. In 2020, they transferred to HGB Leipzig, joining Joachim Blank’s Class for Installation and Space, where they graduated in February 2023. Since 2022, they have been pursuing a BA in art education at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In 2024, Braß was awarded the Robert-Sterl-Prize and continued their studies at the HfBK Dresden, earning an MFA in Fine Arts from 2023 to 2026 in the studio of Wilhelm Mundt.
